Canadian Automobile Dealers Association to Comment on Proposed Federal Fuel Economy Regulation

    WHO:   Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) Director of Public
           Affairs, Huw Williams.

    WHAT:  CADA will be commenting on Canada's First Motor Vehicle Fuel
           Consumption Regulations announced by The Honourable
           Lawrence Cannon, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and
           Communities earlier this year.  The close of public comment on
           these proposed regulations is March 15, 2008.

    WHERE: Charles Lynch Room, Parliament Hill, Ottawa

    WHEN:  Friday, March 7th, 2008 at 9:30 am

    WHY:   Canada will regulate the fuel consumption of new cars and light
           trucks, beginning with the 2011 model year. CADA will outline the
           association's views on this to the media, in advance of the close
           of government consultations with automotive, environmental and
           other stakeholders.
