Canadian Arrow returns drill results of 4.27% Ni and, 0.54% Cu over 5.0 metres at Kenbridge



    SUDBURY, ON, Feb. 11 /CNW/ - Canadian Arrow Mines, Ltd. (CRO: TSX-V) (the
"Company") today announced assay results from drill intersections from the
2007 program up to hole 138 which include holes from the open pit portion of
the deposit that were backlogged with the assay lab, as well as some holes
from below the limits of the proposed open pit.
    Commenting on the results, Kim Tyler, President of the Company stated,
"These results continue to demonstrate the excellent continuity of the deposit
while also illustrating there are high grade zones of mineralization which may
be amenable to mining early in the proposed production of the Kenbridge
deposit."
    Particularly notable is diamond drill hole KB-07-78 which, unfortunately,
was not available to be included in the calculations for the recently
announced Preliminary Economic Assessment (see Press Release dated January 10,
2008). It assayed 1.05% Ni and 0.22% Cu over a core length of 24.0 metres
including a high grade section of 4.27% Ni and 0.54% Cu over 5.0 metres. The
KB-07-78 intersection demonstrates the substantial widths of shallow nickel
mineralization that also incorporate high grade nickel sections.

    
    Highlights of the assays which have recently been returned from holes
drilled within the limit of the proposed pit are as below:
    -   KB-07-78 - 1.05% Ni, 0.22% Cu 4.0% Ni 24.0 m including 4.27% Ni,
        0.54% Cu over 5.0 m
    -   KB-07-96 - 0.97%Ni, 0.43% Cu over 20.0 m including 1.35% Ni,
        0.47% Cu over 9.0 m
    -   KB-07-113 - 1.06% Ni, 0.38% Cu over 16.4 m including 3.5% Ni,
        1.09 %Cu, over 3.8 m
    -   KB-07-127 - 0.80% Ni, 0.54% Cu over 14.8 m including 2.36% Ni,
        0.91% Cu over 2.9 m
    -   KB-07-136 - 0.82% Ni, 0.53% Cu over 22.8m.

    The backlog of assays now stands at approximately 45 drill holes that have
not had been reported. These remaining holes are concentrated below the
proposed open pit portion of the deposit.
    Two rigs are diamond drilling on Kenbridge now, targeting between the 160
m level and the 400 m level of the deposit. A higher grade, near continuous
zone of mineralization identified in the northern portion of the proposed open
pit appears to shows excellent continuity at depth as demonstrated by KB-07-91
which intersected 1.02%Ni, 0.33% Cu, over 8.0 m including 2.85% Ni, 0.84% Cu
over 2.6 m.

    Analytical Method
    -----------------

    Mineralized diamond drill hole intervals reported are down hole core
lengths only. NQ diameter drill core samples are split in half; one half being
retained in its original core box and the second half sent to an independent
commercial laboratory for analysis. Samples are analyzed by ISO 17025
accredited Accurassay Laboratories in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Samples analyzed
for base metals (nickel, copper, and cobalt) are digested using aqua regia
with an atomic absorption finish.
    The exploration program is being carried out under the direction of the
Company's Vice President of Exploration, Todd Keast P. Geo., a qualified
person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The information in this
