Audition Tour kicks off February 12, 2011
VAUGHAN, ON, Feb. 9 /CNW/ - Canada's Wonderland, Canada's largest single location employer of youth and York Region's
top employer, is launching its annual audition tour for the upcoming
season. The tour is in search of talented and trained singers, actors,
variety artists, musicians, show technicians, and stage managers to
star in the 2011 show line-up. The Park will debut two brand new shows
including "Start Me Up"; a high-energy trip through rock history at International Showplace,
and "Charlie Brown's Pirate Adventure" with J.T, Charlie Brown, Linus and Lucy decked out and ready to sail
the high seas in their own swashbuckling show at Playhouse Theatre. "Snoopy Rocks On Ice", the Park's signature ice show, will also return to the Wonderland
Theatre for another fun-filled season.
The audition tour runs from February 12-20, 2011 at various locations
throughout Toronto and the GTA.
Public Audition Schedule:
February 12 - Canada's Wonderland: Wonderland Theatre
February 18 & 19 - University of Toronto: St. Vladimir's Institute,
February 20 - Canada's Wonderland: Wonderland Theatre
*Please note that auditions take place from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. on each of
the public audition days.
Private auditions and interviews will also be conducted for students
enrolled at the following educational institutions: Sheridan College,
Humber College and Ryerson University.
