Cambria, the World Leader in Stone Surfacing Color Innovation, Introduces 16 New Colors and Establishes the Next Generation of Superior Quartz Stone

Unprecedented New Colors Will Revolutionize Quartz in the Stone Surfacing
    Industry

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 20 /CNW/ -- Cambria, the only American made quartz
stone producer, today announced an unprecedented 16 new colors for launch.
This expands Cambria's total palette to 64 exquisite colors.

Cambria's new colors possess unrivaled movement, depth and veining that
no other stone countertop has been able to capture. These new colors possess
all the performance benefits of Cambria quartz. Cambria is the most durable
stone product on the market and it is nonporous so it won't stain and requires
no maintenance, polishing or regular sealing unlike granite. Cambria is also
certified by the NSF International as safe for use as a food preparation
surface, and GREENGUARD certified as a low-emitting product for indoor air
quality. Test results confirmed that Cambria emits no harmful emissions of any
kind. Granite may off-gas harmful chemicals.

In 2005, Cambria established the world's most popular line of quartz
stone colors with the introduction of its Quarry Collection. This collection
established Cambria as the leader in color innovation with designers,
homeowners and the entire countertop industry. Cambria has once again raised
the bar with today's introduction of 16 new colors representing "The Next
Generation of Superior Stone."

"Today's homeowners rightfully demand the beauty of natural stone
surfaces coupled with exceptional performance and functionality," said Martin
Davis, Cambria's President and Chief Executive Officer. "Cambria has it all.
The quarried stone coupled with the performance found only in Cambria Quartz.
Maintenance free, clean, green and extreme beauty."

Ten of the new colors will be included in Cambria's Quarry Collection
including Aragon, with warm creams and caramels, a hint of red berries, and
grey veining; and Blackwood, a rich black with subtle caramel fossils and blue
pearls.

Cambria also introduces six new Desert Collection colors, a group of
colors representing consistent tones and hues throughout its palette. These
colors have been produced in response to the demand of both the contemporary
and commercial designer. Examples of new colors in the Desert Collection
include: Devon, a blue-grey similar to natural concrete; Minai, a deep rich
black with vibrant mirror chips; Cuddington, the perfect creamy sandstone; and
Waverton, a popular marble.

Strong, Safe, Certified and Environmentally Friendly

Cambria is a stain resistant, nonporous surface that is harder, stronger
and easier to care for than other stone surfaces because it does not require
sealing with chemical-based conditioners, polishers or wax. Cambria is also
certified by NSF International as safe for use as a food preparation surface -
there is no safer surface available to consumers.

Cambria recycles and recovers 100 percent of the water used in its
production processes through unique settling and filtering techniques. In
addition, Cambria surfaces do not off-gas and contain zero formaldehyde or
volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Cambria surfaces have been tested for
radon emissions by Air Quality Sciences, Inc. (AQS), an International
Organization for Standard (ISO) 9001:2000 registered and ISO 17025 accredited
Indoor Air Quality Company. The test confirms that Cambria natural quartz
surfaces have no harmful emissions of any type.

Cambria surfaces are GREENGUARD for Children and Schools certified and
GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified . Cambria natural quartz surfaces may
help projects achieve LEED points towards certification under various LEED
Green Building Rating Systems.

Primarily made from North American quartz, and as the only producer of
natural quartz surfaces in the United States, Cambria has a lower carbon
footprint when compared to other quartz products that are largely produced in
the Middle East, Asia and Europe and require greater transportation and carbon
resources en route to market.
