CALVALLEY PETROLEUM ANNOUNCES MANAGEMENT CHANGE

Calvalley Petroleum Inc. (TSX: CVI.A)

CALGARY, May 26, 2011 /CNW/ - Calvalley Petroleum Inc. (Calvalley) announced today that Mr Memet Kont, the company's President and Chief Operating Officer, has resigned for personal reasons, effective immediately.  Mr. Edmund Shimoon, Calvalley's Chief Executive Officer, will assume Mr Kont's duties.

Mr Shimoon and the Board of Directors of Calvalley extend their sincere appreciation to Mr Kont for the contributions he has made to the development of the company over the past three years.

Calvalley is an international oil and gas company, with offices in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, that operates its 50% working interest in Block 9 of the Masila Basin, in The Republic of Yemen. Calvalley also operates its 100% working interest in the Gimbi and Metema Blocks of the Blue Nile Basin, in The Republic of Ethiopia.
