Local trailblazers on leading in turbulent times
CALGARY, Jan. 26 /CNW/ - Women's Executive Network (WXN)(TM) will honour
local winners of the 2008 Canada's Most Powerful Women: Top 100(TM) at a
summit and gala awards luncheon at the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre on
Joanne Cuthbertson, Chancellor of the University of Calgary, will give

Executive Network Founder Pamela Jeffery. "But at WXN, we are seeing that

WXN will provide a half-day of concentrated professional development at
this year's summit. The awards luncheon will celebrate the achievements of the
most influential women in Canada, with a special focus on winners in Calgary.
A special panel on "Leading in Turbulent Times" will feature Monica
Zurowski, Managing Editor, The Calgary Herald, moderating a discussion with
winners Cathy Williams, Managing Director, Options Capital Limited; Jennifer
Hatfield, Faculty of Medicine, University of Calgary; and Mary Rozsa de
Coquet, Chair, Calgary Arts Development Authority.
