pleased to announce the appointment of Gilles Chevrier as a director of the
Company. Mr. Chevrier replaces Jean-Denis Talon. Mr. Talon, who is also
Chairman of the Board of AXA Canada, resigned from BUS's board subsequent to
AXA SA's adoption of a corporate governance rule applicable to all its
Prior to becoming a well-established consultant in 2002, Mr. Chevrier was
employed by AXA Assurances for 33 years, including 15 years as Vice President
Indemnification, when he was in charge of an annual budget of $900 million and
350 employees. He also acted as an AXA delegate on the international scene for
the AXA forums on indemnification. During his career, he chaired various
committees of the Groupement des assureurs automobiles and the Insurance
Bureau of Canada. He was also President of the Association des centres
jeunesse du Québec for many years.
