Burcon selected for inclusion in 2007 TSX Venture 50



    VANCOUVER, June 20 /CNW/ - Burcon NutraScience Corporation (TSX-V: BU) a
pioneer in the development of food-grade canola proteins, is pleased to
announce that it has been selected for inclusion in the "2007 TSX Venture 50",
a ranking of the top 50 emerging public companies listed on the TSX Venture
Exchange. This is the second year that Burcon has been recognized as a TSX
Venture 50 company.
    The criteria used to determine the TSX Venture 50 is based on a formula
considering revenue, return on investment, market capitalization growth, and
trading volume for the top ten companies in each of five industry sectors -
mining, oil & gas, technology, life science and diversified industries.
