Joins Sun's Unified Network Platform Reference Architecture for WiMAX
BARCELONA, Spain, Feb. 13 /CNW/ - Bridgewater Systems (TSX:BWC) today
announced it has been invited to join the Sun Sales Connect Program to jointly
pursue opportunities with telecommunications operators.
Through this program, Sun and Bridgewater will enable joint customers to
benefit from the most current performance innovations afforded by Sun's
systems, software and services coupled with Bridgewater's industry-leading
network access control and policy management software.
As part of the program, Bridgewater is to date, the only policy
management ISV chosen by Sun to join Sun's WiMAX ecosystem - the Sun Unified
Network Platform Reference Architecture for WiMAX. Bridgewater is a leading
provider of network access control solutions in WiMAX, selected by more than
seven service providers around the world, including two Tier 1 North American
operators. Bridgewater's WiMAX solutions are access network and equipment
vendor agnostic, enabling service providers to easily deploy in mixed network
environments and accelerate time to market.
