Breaking Up Might Be Good For Health Reasons



    VANCOUVER, Sept. 15 /CNW/ - It can be hard to end it with long-time
lovers. With Sir Paul McCartney and Gordon Ramsay's recent exchange on their
views on vegetarianism it's time for people to find out themselves what this
means to them. Earthsave Canada is challenging the public to a one week long
Vancouver Veggie Challenge, leading up to Earthsave's 10th Anniversary Taste
of Health Food and Lifestyle Festival.
    Consumers can sign up anytime at
http://tasteofhealth.earthsave.ca/veggiechallenge/. It officially starts on
September 21 and again on September 28.

    
    The veggie challenge is open to all and includes:
    -  a daily email with meal ideas, nutrition information, recipe links,
       health and environmental information related
    -  a chance to tell their story and win prizes
    -  a website that has lots of great information on a plant-based diet.
    

    Media notice: Several experts are availabe to answers any questions you
might have including Brenda Davis www.brendadavisrd.com and Vesanto Melina
www.nutrispeak.com. They can answer questions on the vegetarian movement, food
security, and nutrition. Please consider one of your reporters take part in
