Eighteen classic 007 films premiere on Mpix and will be available in HD
and on demand
TORONTO, Oct. 10 /CNW/ - Danger, adventure, martinis "shaken, not
stirred" and the most iconic secret agent in the history of film infiltrate
Astral Media's classic film channel Mpix as part of The Ultimate Bond Event
beginning Friday, November 16, 2007. For the first time ever on Canadian
television, 18 classic Bond films will air uncut and commercial-free and will
be available in High Definition 5.1. on Mpix HD. The event culminates with the
premiere of the latest Bond blockbuster Casino Royale on Saturday, November 24
at 9 p.m. ET on Mpix's affiliate channel, The Movie Network.
As an added bonus and prior to the films' network premieres, subscribers
will have the chance to preview all 18 Bond films - along with four
documentaries about Agent 007 - at their convenience on Mpix OnDemand
beginning Tuesday, November 13.
