TORONTO, May 26 /CNW/ - The TORONTO BLUE JAYS will face the Boston Red
Sox this weekend, marking the first visit to Toronto by the AL East foe this
season. In addition former US presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton will
be speaking at the Metro Convention Centre on Friday evening.
Increased traffic volume is expected in and around the downtown core,
particularly close to Rogers Centre. Hence, all fans are encouraged to
purchase tickets in advance and arrange for pick up or delivery of tickets
well before game start times to avoid delays. The tremendous response for the
Club early in the season has resulted in heavy game day sales, causing some
delays for fans attempting to pick up tickets. Large crowds are anticipated,
therefore the best option for those taking in any of the three-game series
this weekend are advance purchase.
