Blue Jays trade Rosario to Phillies



    TORONTO, April 5 /CNW/ - The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have traded RHP FRANCISCO
ROSARIO to the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for cash considerations.
    ROSARIO, 26, posted a 1-2 record last season with a 6.65 ERA in
17 appearances (one start) with the Blue Jays. The 6-0, 197 lb. right-hander
was designated for assignment by Toronto on March 31, 2007. In 148 career
minor league games (84 starts) he posted a record of 20-26 with a 3.38 ERA.
    ROSARIO was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the Toronto Blue Jays
on January 11, 1999.
