    OAKVILLE, ON, July 10 /CNW/ - BIOX Corporation ("BIOX") announced today
that it has filed a preliminary prospectus with the securities regulatory
authorities in each of the provinces and territories of Canada in connection
with a proposed initial public offering of its common shares.

    BIOX is a renewable energy company that designs, builds, owns and
operates biodiesel production facilities.
    RBC Capital Markets is lead manager of the underwriting syndicate which
also includes BMO Capital Markets, Scotia Capital Inc., GMP Securities L.P.,
Cormark Securities Inc., Genuity Capital Markets and Dundee Securities
Corporation.
