Bilateral trade on the menu at Dinner of the Americas



    VANCOUVER, April 27 /CNW/ - Ambassadors from 11 Latin American and
Caribbean countries and their Canadian counterparts will discuss bilateral
trade and the case against protectionism at the 2009 Dinner of the Americas on
Friday.
    The Honourable Stockwell Day, Canada's Minister of International Trade,
and David Morris, Director of the Summits of the Americas Secretariat for the
Organization of American States, will be among the event's featured speakers.
In his keynote address, Mr. Morris will share the highlights of the 2009
Summit of the Americas.

    
    Mr. Day and Mr. Morris will speak to the media at a 6:30 p.m. press
    conference on Friday, May 1 in Room Gazebo 2, Lobby Level, Pan Pacific
    Hotel, 999 Canada Place, Vancouver, B.C.
