TORONTO, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - Best Buy Canada and Nintendo of Canada Ltd. are
joining forces this fall to spread the word across Canada about
female-friendly gaming. It's no longer just teenagers playing video games -
its everybody, including young girls, moms and even seniors.
Best Buy's "Wii(TM) for Women" events will feature gaming experts talking
directly with women, including moms and their daughters, to educate them on
how widespread gaming has become over the years - and how women's minds and
bodies can actually benefit from playing certain video games, not to mention
that it's a great way to relax, and also have fun with the entire family!
Consumers will be able to try out featured games at the Wii for Women
events including Wii Fit(TM) and Mario Kart(TM) Wii on the Wii console, and
brain games like Brain Age(TM): Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day and Brain
Age 2(TM): More Training in Minutes a Day on the Nintendo DS(TM) handheld
video game system.
