VANCOUVER, March 13 /CNW/ - Bentall Capital today announced the
introduction of a consistent branding strategy for its sustainability
initiatives. The new "ForeverGreen" brand will be used to identify initiatives
that relate directly or indirectly to responsible property management at more
than 600 Bentall-managed properties across Canada and in the United States.
"ForeverGreen is a declaration of Bentall's commitment to strategically
develop and continually improve environmental best practices with regard to
our managed properties and the impact they have on the communities in which we
do business," said Cheryl Gray, Senior Vice President, National Real Estate
Services. "It is part of a comprehensive sustainability strategy that
encompasses energy and utilities management, waste management,
industry-related certifications, sustainability resources, and stakeholder
communication and education."
Gray added that, by giving a distinctive profile to the company's current
and future sustainability initiatives, Bentall's new ForeverGreen program will
help foster a culture of conservation and environmental awareness. "It
provides a context for us to partner with clients, tenants and suppliers to
reduce greenhouse gas emissions, increase waste diversion practices and reduce
the environmental footprint of the properties we manage," she concluded.
