Bell offers anytime, anywhere messaging with new Online Voice Mail and Text to Landline services

TORONTO, Ontario, Feb. 4 /CNW Telbec/ - Bell Canada today announced the
availability of two new services, Online Voice Mail and Text to Landline
messaging, that allow Bell customers to stay seamlessly connected to their
personal messages anytime and anywhere.
Online Voice Mail allows Bell Home Phone clients to retrieve voice
messages online as an audio file attachment from any computer in the world
with an Internet connection. The Text to Landline service offered by Bell
Mobility allows clients to send text messages to any landline phone, including
Bell Home Phone.
"By combining three of our most sought-after services, including home
phone, wireless and Internet, Bell is making it easier and more efficient for
our clients to stay connected with family, friends and colleagues," said Kevin
Crull, President, Bell Residential Services. "These new services further our
commitment to delivering the Bell Better Home, offering our clients the
ultimate in reliability, simplicity and accessibility."

    Online Voice Mail

With Online Voice Mail, messages can be easily accessed and managed
through a secured web portal. Clients can also receive real time notifications
of new home phone messages via email or text message on their Bell mobile
phone. Online Voice Mail is available for as little as $3 per month.

Online Voice Mail includes the following features:

    - Listen, delete and download voice mail directly from any computer with
      an Internet connection
    - Send voice mail in the form of a WAV file to any email address
      automatically
    - Toll Free access to voice mail over the phone anywhere in Canada
    - Get up to four separate mailboxes for family or roommates
    - Mailbox capacity of 50 messages
    - New or skipped messages saved for 45 days

    Text to Landline

The Text to Landline Service offered by Bell Mobility enables clients to
send text messages to any landline phone. Text messages are converted into an
automated voice message delivered to the recipient's phone. The message can
then be heard live or is sent to voicemail if the call is received by an
answering machine or voicemail. A confirmation message is sent to the sender
indicating whether the message was successfully delivered to a live person or
a voicemail system.
If delivered to a person, the recipient will have the option to respond
immediately by sending a voice message back to the original sender, who
automatically receives a notification message. The Text to Landline service
works with any landline in Canada or the US. Regular text messaging rates
apply.
