    - Learn about diabetes before the Jonas Brothers concert, with the
opportunity to win concert tickets! -

    TORONTO, Aug. 24 /CNW/ -

What: The Jonas Brothers will be making a stop in Toronto on Sunday,
August 30 as part of their summer world tour. As excited fans head down to the
Rogers Centre for the concert, they should plan to make a stop at the
Simplewins(TM) event hosted by Bayer Diabetes Care at the nearby CN Tower
parkette.
Nick Jonas, who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 13, is bringing
his simplewins(TM) program to Canada in partnership with Bayer Diabetes Care.
The simplewins(TM) program helps young people with diabetes simplify their
lives by achieving "Simple Wins" - small, everyday victories for managing the
disease that can lead to big differences over time. The fun, interactive and
educational simplewins(TM) event will increase awareness of the importance of
type 1 diabetes management for young people and the challenges they face, just
like Nick.

At the simplewins(TM) event, visitors can:
    - Enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Jonas Brothers
        concert that night
    - Sign Nick's mural with their simplewins(TM)
    - Speak to a Diabetes Nurse Educator or Juvenile Diabetes Research
        Foundation Youth Ambassador
    - Get a diabetes-friendly snack

In addition, young people at the event with type 1 diabetes can:
    - Enter for a chance to win a pair of concert tickets and meet-and-
greet passes with the Jonas Brothers that night
    - Be one of the first 75 recipients to receive Nick's simplewins(TM)
        dog tag

Onsite INTERVIEWS, PHOTOS and BROADCAST opportunities with a local
diabetes nurse educator and a Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Youth
Ambassador are available. Both will be on site to educate fans, speak with
young people about diabetes management and share some of Nick's tips for
managing his type 1 diabetes.
