Banff World Television Festival and nextMEDIA announce Malcolm Wall, Chief Executive Officer, Content Division for Virgin Media to deliver the Banff/nextMEDIA Crossover Keynote



    TORONTO, March 13 /CNW/ - The Banff World Television Festival and
nextMEDIA announced today that Malcolm Wall, Chief Executive Officer, Content
Division for Virgin Media will deliver the Banff/nextMEDIA Crossover Keynote
address to Banff and nextMEDIA delegates attending this year's events. Mr.
Wall's Keynote address will be delivered to delegates on Sunday June 8, 2008.

    Malcolm Wall joined Virgin Media as Chief Executive Officer of Content in
2006 and is responsible for the day to day running of the Company's content
business.
    Prior to joining Virgin Media, Malcolm was Chief Operating Officer at
United Business Media where he managed the company's business publishing, news
distribution and market research businesses as well as being on the board of
Channel Five.
    He was Chief Executive Officer of United Broadcasting and Entertainment
Ltd, the division of United Business Media responsible for the management of
television and consumer internet businesses, and before joining United
Broadcasting and Entertainment Ltd, Malcolm held a variety of senior
management positions at broadcasters including Granada Television, Anglia
Television, and Southern Television.
