AXA Art Establishes Partnership with 'Behind Closed Doors'

Relationship facilitates entree to some of Toronto's Most Prestigious Art
Collections Project an initiative of Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary that
    raises funds for cancer research

NEW YORK, June 24 /CNW/ -- AXA Art is pleased to announced that it has
cemented a partnership with "Behind Closed Doors -- An Entree to Private
Collections." The brainchild of co-chairs, Arlene and Stephen Heller, Behind
Closed Doors is quickly becoming one of Toronto's most successful "must see,
must attend" art events.
On October 26, 2008 following a brunch at Toronto's downtown Four Seasons
hotel, participants from the arts, business, corporate and philanthropic
community will be transported to, and escorted through some of the City's most
prestigious collections of paintings, photography, tribal art, sculpture and
antiques. Each tour will be personally guided by the collector or in some
instances by a professional docent, who will offer rare insights into the
remarkable collections of up to four select venues. The day's activities
culminate in a coffee reception.
Proceeds from the Behind Closed Doors event support vital cancer care and
research at the Marvelle Koffler Breast Centre at Mount Sinai Hospital in
Toronto.
In commenting on the partnership agreement, Christiane Fischer, CEO of
AXA Art remarked, "AXA Art is proud to develop a relationship with Toronto's
"Behind Closed Doors" -- a community that is as passionate about art as we
are. We view this as an important association, especially in light of the
formidable work the event supports at The Marvelle Koffler Breast Centre."
Arlene & Stephen Heller Co-Chairs of Behind Closed Doors offered the
following statement, "We welcome AXA Art to the Behind Closed Doors team. We
are confident that the wonderful synergies between us will elevate this event
to even greater heights."
