competition identified fifteen leading and emerging energy management
technologies in Canada from submissions by over 700 interested parties.

Avante smartboxx energy management technologies include: the Home Energy
Manager (remote, wireless temperature control), Home Energy Manager Plus
(remote wireless temperature control with home automation), and economical
one-way or two-way (GMS) demand response solutions. The smartboxx interacts
with energy infrastructure such as electricity, gas and water metering, HVAC
equipment controls and complete electric load management.
