the centre of the cinema universe. Famous directors, producers and actors will
be cruising Toronto streets, packing theatres and restaurants and enjoying the
GTA party scene.
Numerous high-profile celebrities, including Jodie Foster, Kevin Bacon,
Jude Law, Michael Caine, Sean Penn, Jessica Alba, Marcia Gay Harden, Casey
Affleck and Alison Eastwood, have selected Audi as their preferred mode of
transportation. The high-profile presence of the sporty, progressive and
sophisticated new Audis will share the spotlight with many of Hollywood's
leading luminaries.
Audi's new supercar, the bold Audi R8, will make its red carpet debut
when George Clooney arrives at the Roy Thompson Hall on Friday evening for the
premiere screening of his new Warner Brothers film "Michael Clayton".
The spectacular Audi R8 is a marvel of advanced design, technology and

very competitively considering its technological standards, road performance,
high quality and its extensive standard equipment. The first 2008 Audi R8's
will be delivered nationwide starting in late September.
Celebrated actor Brad Pitt will be arriving at the premiere of his film,
"The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford", in his "car of
choice" - an Audi Q7 SUV - on Saturday, September 8.
Audi Canada's involvement during the ten days of the Toronto
International Film Festival commences with Robert Lantos' opening night film
"Fugitive Pieces" followed by an after party at the Liberty Grand. Audi is
also sponsoring a number of TIME Style & Design after parties throughout Film
Festival week including a party for the documentary film "TRUMBO" with Michael
Douglas, Liam Neeson, Joan Allen and Nathan Lane. Another Audi sponsored TIME
Style & Design after party will be staged for the Canadian film "Walk All Over
Me" starring Leelee Sobieski and Tricia Helfer.
Audi has also been named as the official car of the Best Buddies 13th
Annual Gala which takes place during the Toronto International Film Festival
week (on Monday, September 10 at the Carlu). Best Buddies is a charitable
organization dedicated to enhancing the community through one-to-one

Founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant,
international organization that has grown from one original chapter to more
than 1,300 middle school, high school, and college campuses across the country
and internationally.
This year's Best Buddies Gala will be honouring legendary actor Burt
Reynolds, who has elected to arrive at the event in an Audi. The Best Buddies
Gala, hosted by e-Talk Daily's Tanya Kim, will feature a premiere film
screening and a dinner with a musical performance by Chantal Kreviazuk.
