TORONTO, Feb. 14 /CNW/ - With the new Audi Q5 being displayed at the
Canadian International Autoshow in Toronto this weekend, Audi Canada and its
advertising agency, Lowe Roche, are taking a jab at the new vehicle's boxy
Three full-sized, SUV-shaped cardboard boxes will be placed throughout
the show, suggesting people reconsider buying "another box" and directing them
to see the new Audi Q5 instead.
"These boxes truly represent the competition in this category that are
still stuck in the 90's with their clunky, inefficient vehicles," explains
Geoffrey Roche, Chief Creative Officer at Lowe Roche. "The Audi Q5 is unique
in that it's sleek and streamlined, not boxy. Beyond the obvious aesthetic
appeal, this also makes it more fuel efficient and more aerodynamic. Audi has
once again defied convention with the Audi Q5 - in a way that only Audi can."
Lowe Roche continues to use every weapon in its arsenal to bring people
over to what is one of the hottest brands in the automotive industry today.
Placement of the boxes was arranged by Audi Canada's Media Agency, MBS.
