EDMONTON, Jan. 8 /CNW/ - ATB Investment Management Inc. (ATBIM) clarified
that the proposed changes to the Compass Conservative Portfolio described in
the December 20, 2007 press release will not involve a change to the
investment objective of the Portfolio. The December 20th press release was
issued to announce certain amendments to the asset allocation of the Portfolio
that will become effective January 31, 2008, and also indicated that the
objective of the Portfolio would be amended as described in the press release.
ATBIM clarified today that the objective of the Portfolio will not be changed.
However, the previously announced changes to the asset allocation of the
Portfolio will become effective January 31st.
