    TORONTO, Aug. 13 /CNW/ - On Wednesday August 20th, the Chinese and
Canadian McDonald's Champion Kids will come together in true Olympic spirit
for a special gathering to mark the transition from Beijing to Vancouver at
the Canada Olympic House.
    Come watch as they celebrate the uniting power of sport, with Canadian
diver and three-time Olympian Alexandre Despatie in attendance, with a
traditional Chinese gift exchange followed by a game of street hockey.
    This event marks the halfway point in a journey-of-a-lifetime for
Canada's McDonald's Champion Kids, Emily Bulten and Max Newton, who are
experiencing the Games first hand, meeting athletes, visiting cultural sites
and interacting with other kids from across the globe.
