CALGARY, April 5 /CNW/ - The Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) has
announced that a hearing has been scheduled for April 11, 2007, regarding the
conduct of Cameron Kuipers in British Columbia (BC), under the reciprocal
enforcement provisions of the Alberta Securities Act.
In the Notice of Hearing, ASC Staff seek an order in Alberta similar to
that made on November 30, 2006 by the BC Securities Commission, which
determined that Kuipers had: acted as an advisor without being registered;
engaged in an illegal distribution of securities of Ultimate Ventures Inc. and
Trivera Investments Inc.; and made misrepresentations about material facts
respecting Ultimate and Trivera.
