CALGARY, Aug. 14 /CNW/ - Aqua-Pure Ventures Inc. announces that it
intends to offer for sale on a private placement basis common shares for
aggregate gross proceeds of a maximum of $20 million. The common shares will
be offered at a price of $1.00 per share to eligible investors.
Aqua-Pure intends to use the proceeds of the financing for the Parker
County Water Supply Pipeline Project and for general working capital. Subject
to receipt of regulatory approvals, closing is expected to occur on or about
August 29, 2008.
It is anticipated that any shares not subscribed for by August 29, 2008
will be purchased by insiders of Aqua-Pure. A minimum of 3 million shares are
to be placed with officers, directors and persons related to such individuals.
