MONTREAL, Jan. 17 /CNW/ - Aptilon Corporation ("Aptilon" or the
"Corporation") (TSX-V: APZ), a leading provider of physician access through
its innovative alternative sales and marketing channel, today announced that
it has successfully completed the acquisition of all issued and outstanding
shares of Tinderbox Partners Inc. ("Tinderbox"), a digital marketing firm for
pharmaceutical marketers. This acquisition follows the purchase of all
outstanding shares of Mikich Company ("Mikich"), for total cash consideration
of $400,000, on December 31, 2007.
Tinderbox operates Allied Health Partners ("AHP"), an online network of
medical and other partner channels offering innovative and unprecedented
access to healthcare professionals in North America. Mikich Company operates
two leading U.S.-based physician job-search and employment referral websites,
Med2020.com ("Med2020") and GasJobs.com ("GasJobs"). These websites answer
critical needs of healthcare professionals and will enable the delivery of
targeted advertising and information to physicians across the country and in a
number of specialties.

Aptilon paid total consideration for Tinderbox of $2,835,000, comprised
of $1,535,000 in cash and $1,300,000 by the issuance of 3,250,000 common
shares of Aptilon at $0.40 per share. The common shares issued pursuant to
this acquisition are subject to a four-month hold period, in accordance with
applicable securities legislation and policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
