OTTAWA, Sept. 24 /CNW Telbec/ - The Honourable Lawrence Cannon, Minister
of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities, today announced the appointment
of Mrs. Ann L. Gray as a member of the board of directors of the Blue Water
Bridge Authority for a term of three years.
"I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Gray to the board of
directors of the Blue Water Bridge Authority," said Minister Cannon. "Her
involvement in the local community will be a welcome asset to the authority."
Mrs. Gray graduated from the legal office administration and law clerk
program at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario in 1977. Since that time, she
has operated a business as a freelance law clerk in Lambton county. Mrs. Gray
has experience in both commercial and residential law and is a member of the
Ontario Association of Professional Searchers of Records and the Professional
Paralegal Association of Ontario.
The Blue Water Bridge Authority, which has a four-member board of
directors, is responsible for the management and operation of the Canadian
side of the Blue Water Bridge. The Michigan Department of Transportation owns
and operates the American side. The bridge, which has existed since 1938,
spans the St. Clair River between Point Edward, Ontario, and Port Huron,
