Appointment to CO2 Solution's Scientific Advisory Board

announce that Romas J. Kazlauskas, Ph.D., a researcher and professor in the
Department of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biophysics at the University
of Minnesota, has been appointed to CO2 Solution's Scientific Advisory Board.
    "The combination of Dr. Kazlauskas's scientific expertise and that of our
other experienced board members will surely be of great benefit to our entire
team. This appointment is also consistent with our current strategy of

    "Dr. Kazlauskas is recognized worldwide for his research on the use of

benefit from his experience and world-class expertise, most notably in the

    Romas J. Kazlauskas, Ph.D.

    Romas J. Kazlauskas is Professor of Biochemistry at the Department of
Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Biophysics at the University of Minnesota.
He also participates in the Biocatalysis Initiative at that institution. He
holds a Ph. D. degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a
post-doctoral degree from Harvard University. Over the years, Dr. Kazlauskas
has specialized in the use of enzymes as biocatalyst in several chemical
processes. An accomplished scientist, he has published more than 80 scientific
articles, has been awarded four patents and has lectured at prestigious
meetings and institutions worldwide.
    Dr. Kazlauskas's appointment will fill the position left vacant by Michel
Lepage's departure to pursue new professional opportunities. "Having served on
the Scientific Advisory Board since February 2003, Mr. Lepage participated in
the development of CO2 Solution and we are grateful for his efforts wishing
him success in his new endeavours" said Jacques Raymond.
