MONTREAL, Feb. 8 /CNW Telbec/ - The Canadian Hotel and Restaurant
Suppliers Association (HRSA) is honoured to announce that, as of today, Mr.
Howard Bowles will serve as chair of its board of directors. Mr. Bowles will
be the association's 57th board chair and will preside over its 75th
anniversary in 2010.
This appointment was announced during the Reconnaissance Gala that
highlighted the important contributions made by ten key figures to the
development of the Canadian economy: Ms. Christiane Germain, Co-President and
CEO, Groupe Germain, Ms. Cora Tsouflidou, Founder and President of the Chez
Cora chain of restaurants, Mr. André Dion, Founder of Uni-Broue and President,
Société Guyon, Mr. Louis Roquet, President and COO, Desjardins Venture
Capital, Ms. Denise Cornellier, President, Cornellier Traiteur, Mr. Pierre
Bibeau, Senior Corporate Vice-President of Communications and Public Affairs,
Loto Québec, Mr. Guy Latraverse, President, Sogestalt Télévision Québec, Mr.
Robert Trudeau, President, Trudeau Corporation, Mr. Jean Fontaine, President,
Terroir Etcetera and Mr. Alfonso Argento, President and CEO, Seven Brothers
Construction. Mr. Bowles presided over the official opening of the 2009 HRI
Rendez-Vous Show, which is taking place between February 8 and 10, 2009, at
Montreal's Place Bonaventure.
Howard Bowles is Vice-President, Sales, Eastern Region, Allstream

dimension to our association and his nomination as chair was confirmed by a
