QUEBEC CITY, Oct. 7 /CNW Telbec/ - On October 8th, 2008, ANIMA-Québec is
proud to present the second annual ANIMA-Quebec Day. Taking place during
Animal Health Week, the goals of this event are to increase awareness of Anima
Quebec and raise funds which will help to continue the organization's mission
to watch over the safety and the welfare of cats and dogs in Quebec.
On this special day the organization's three partners Mondou, Nutrience
and Petland will be helping to raise funds in the following ways. A special
"Parce qu'on les aime" (Because we love them) reusable bag will be sold in all
44 Mondou stores with a portion of the proceeds going to ANIMA-Quebec. A
combined effort between 24 Petland locations and Nutrience will also take
place that same day whereby for every identified bag of Nutrience dog or cat
food sold, a percentage of the profits will be donated to the organization.
ANIMA-Québec is very thankful for the support of Mondou, Nutrience and
Petland and is confident their involvement will make ANIMA-Quebec Day a
