CALGARY, Jan. 23 /CNW/ - Canadians will have a special opportunity to
show their love of comedy this Valentine's Day. E! is pleased to announce the
return of the Emmy-nominated "Last Comic Standing" with an open casting call
in Toronto on February 14. This stop is the series' only casting call outside
of the United States.
Details for the exclusive Canadian date are as follows:
Date: Thursday, February 14
Time: Doors open at 9am
Location: Yuk Yuk's
224 Richmond Street
The open casting call is for men and women 18 years and older and

material for the talent scouts. Details are available at www.eonline.com.
The season six casting for "Last Comic Standing" is looking for one
thing - someone who can bring the funny! The multi-city search featuring a
team of talent scouts lead by show host actor/comedian Bill Bellamy begins in
Los Angeles on January 28 with a total of eight stops. The top comics from
each city will advance to the semi-finals where they will be narrowed down to
the top 10 finalists, who will engage in a fiercely funny and fast-paced
competition where only one will become the next "Last Comic Standing".
Canada made a great showing last season with Canuck comedians Gerry Dee
and Debra DiGiovanni both reaching the final ten.
