MONTREAL, May 19, 2016 /CNW Telbec/ - The Ontario Gymnastics Federation has chosen Canadian software company Amilia to manage club memberships, athlete memberships and online registrations. With an initial five-year agreement, Amilia software will allow Gymnastics Ontario to offer an online point of sale centralizing all its operations.
Software ensuring better governance
The software designed by Amilia gives federations the ability to integrate better accountability and ensure better management of data to significantly reduce remittances. "Data entry is a true challenges for federations and sports clubs. The current process is so laborious that most of the information is no longer accurate once they are recorded in the database, " said François Gaouette, CEO of Amilia.
An innovative model for sports federations
The technology developed by Amilia to meet the requirements of the Ontario Gymnastics Federation is based on a new concept: resale through a virtual warehouse. "This special collaboration with Gymnastics Ontario allows us to develop a unique federated model, complete and versatile, easily adaptable to the realities of other sports federations," adds Gaouette. Automated management of memberships also facilitate the daily operations of Federations. Amilia wants to share this new proficiency with all sports federations and plans to invest over a million dollars in the next year in this project.
