MARKHAM, ON, April 30 /CNW/ - American Express is pleased to announce
that Cardmembers can go to the Front Of The Line(R) from 10:00 am today
through 5:00 pm tomorrow for advance tickets to The Economic Club of Toronto
luncheon, featuring keynote speaker Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of
California. Governor Schwarzenegger will be speaking at the Sheraton Centre
Hotel in Toronto on May 30, 2007.
Front Of The Line is an exclusive benefit available to all American
Express Cardmembers, offering them access to tickets to the hottest events
across Canada before they go on sale to the public. Already in 2007 American
Express has provided Cardmembers access to advance tickets to over 50
theatrical shows, concerts and events, including The Stratford Festival,
Russell Peters, Rush, Keith Urban and popular children's performers Hi-5.
"Providing Cardmembers with exclusive access to the most sought after
entertainment experiences across the country is a key differentiator for
American Express," said David Barnes, Vice President, Communications,
Advertising and Sponsorship, American Express Canada. "The quality of events
available through Front Of The Line - from tickets to a Jann Arden concert to
the luncheon with Governor Schwarzenegger - illustrate that American Express
is a market leader when it comes to delivering value and variety to its
discerning Cardmember base."
American Express Cardmembers also have priority access to seats at
entertainment events after the Front Of The Line advance purchase period, and
can take advantage of exclusive experience packages such as box seats, private
presentations or special backstage passes. These experiences can also be
obtained through the redemption of Membership Rewards points - American
Express' proprietary rewards program.
To register and purchase tickets for this event, American Express
Cardmembers need to call the Economic Club of Toronto at 416-306-0899. For a
