Allstate Insurance Company of Canada develops strategic alliance with Lifecall



    MARKHAM, ON, April 12 /CNW/ - In an effort to continually find ways to
offer their clients peace of mind, Allstate Insurance Company of Canada has
developed a strategic alliance with LifeCall, a national provider of personal
emergency response systems. LifeCall is a division of VOXCOM Security Systems.
    Allstate policyholders are now able to access an exclusive, value-added
offer for personal emergency response services provided by LifeCall. Allstate
customers can contact their Agent or call 1-800-allstate and will be referred
by Allstate to LifeCall or the customer can contact LifeCall's 1-800 number
and provide their Allstate agent's name.

    LifeCall is a personal emergency response system that provides access to
help at the press of a button. In an emergency LifeCall will dispatch the
required emergency service, whether it is police, fire, or ambulance as
determined by speaking to the customer through the two-way voice communicator.

easy for thousands of elderly, chronically ill and physically challenged
Canadians every day. With an increase in the diversity of the needs of an
aging population, the LifeCall service can provide an affordable alternative
