MONCTON, Oct. 25 /CNW/ - Aliant today announced a $12 million investment
in Greater Moncton to enhance the capacity of the existing broadband network
and to give more customers innovative service options, including video-rich
applications like Aliant TV.
"This $12 million injection brings Aliant's total investment in broadband
in New Brunswick to $164 million since 2000," said Claudine Langan, Aliant's

Moncton today to congratulate Aliant on its investment. "Business New
Brunswick would like to congratulate Aliant on this important investment in
their broadband network in Moncton," said Byrne. "The Province of New

One of the first advantages of this investment is the launch of Aliant
TV-today customers in Moncton will be able to receive this innovative IP-based
television service that delivers 100 per cent digital picture and sound
quality and features 240 channels - including over 150 TV channels,
40 commercial free digital music channels and over 50 radio stations from
right here in Atlantic Canada.
Aliant TV is a cost-effective choice for customers, offering them more

as $29 per month - for the first twelve months, customers can get Aliant TV's
