employees have been ranked as top performers in the customer service industry
in North America. Aliant was also recognized as having the best outbound sales
and service program in North America and received honorable mention for
Community Spirit in an organization by the Contact Centre World Organization.

The employee finalists, listed below, are all from Atlantic Canada and
were nominated for a combination of their overall service or sales excellence,
community engagement and demonstration of corporate values. The awards are
issued annually by the Contact Center World Organization who, with over
100,000 members, is the largest global support organization for the contact
- Craig Martin of Mount Pearl, NL placed second in North America as the
Best Customer Service Supervisor.
- Heidi Hutchings Kays of Charlottetown, PEI placed third in the category
of Best Customer Service Agent in North America.
- Brian Hunt of Mount Pearl, NL was named one of the top five Contact
Center Sales Agents in North America.
- Jeffrey Folkins of Saint John, NB was also named on the top five
Contact Center Sales Agents in North America.
