New office will further the development of Alcan's international sales
network in India

(AIN) announced today that it will open a new commercial office in Mumbai,
India to support Alcan's growing opportunities in India. The new office will
be named Alcan India Private Ltd.
"With India being one of the most exciting growth economies in the world
today, it is a logical step for us to open an office there. With a mixture of
local knowledge and global presence, this new office will open the door in and

The new AIN office will be staffed by a commercial team with a high level

user, including sales, sourcing, logistics and warehousing, local currency
invoicing, and support for risk management.
Indian manufacturers will have the opportunity to utilize AIN's worldwide
