Alberta Insurance Council - On-line Survey



    EDMONTON, May 15 /CNW/ - The Alberta Insurance Council is asking
interested Albertans who have recently purchased: travel insurance with a
vacation or trip, vehicle warranty insurance or Creditor group life and/or
accident and sickness insurance with a loan or mortgage, to participate in an
on-line survey.
    All of the responses collected will be used to make recommendations to
Alberta's Finance and Enterprise Minister regarding regulations governing
distribution of these insurance products in the province.
    To participate in the survey, interested Albertans can visit the Alberta
Insurance Council website at www.abcouncil.ab.ca and click on the survey
button.

    Since 1989, the Alberta Insurance Council has been responsible for the
licensing and regulation of insurance agents, brokers and adjusters in the
province of Alberta. AIC also investigates consumer complaints relating to the
activities of insurance companies.

    
    The mission of the Alberta Insurance Council is to protect the public
    through the regulation of insurance intermediaries.
