DELTA, BC, April 2 /CNW/ - ATI AirTest Technologies Inc. (TSXV: AAT)
announced today the signing of a Distribution Agreement with Smartcool SEA
Pte. Ltd. which is based in Manila, The Philippines.
The convergence of climate change initiatives and rising energy costs has
dramatically increased the demand for energy efficient technologies,
particularly in commercial properties and office buildings. Under the terms of
the agreement, Smartcool SEA Pte. Ltd. (SSEA) will leverage its sales and
marketing and corporate positioning capabilities to establish AirTest
Technologies Inc. (ATI) products in the Southeast Asia commercial property
market. Specifically, SSEA will focus on deploying AirTest sensor technology
that is proven to appreciably improve commercial property and office building
operating efficiencies and, as a result, generate significant energy cost
"AirTest is extremely pleased to add Smartcool SEA as its newest
distributor/partner," said George Graham, founder and CEO of AirTest
Technologies. "David Verlee, CEO of SSEA, is very strongly networked into the
commercial buildings market in Southeast Asia, and has been successful in
introducing the complementary Smartcool product line to that market."
The opportunity for SSEA to sell ATI products into their market is
enhanced greatly due to the combination of higher energy prices than in North
America, much lower installation costs, and very limited utilization of sensor
systems similar to those offered by ATI.
"We are excited about our opportunity to work with the proven technology
and professional support offered by AirTest," said David Verlee. "George
Graham and VP of Sales and Business Development Mike Schell bring a wealth of
knowledge and experience to bear in the area of sensor technology, which will
serve us well in opening new business doors for AirTest."
