MISSISSAUGA, ON, June 5 /CNW/ - Aerofoam Metals Inc. (OTC: AFML)
(www.aerofoammetals.com). Aerofoam Metals Incorporated announces that it will
be supplying its Aerometal(TM) for application in new home construction in the
state of Florida. In response to projections that target population growth in
Florida will reach 25 Million by 2020, the Governor of Florida recently
announced the need for up to 600,000 new executive homes by 2015. Aerofoam's
participation in the new home construction is estimated to generate minimum
annual revenues of more than $50 Million for the company.
Aerofoam Metals will be supplying its material for use in the
construction of "The Perfect Home", designed and being built by Aercon
Industries. Aercon Industries conceived the Perfect Home for the executive
market in Florida to withstand the pressure of most hurricanes, tornados, the
heat of fire and the sun, resist insects, lower noise, and protect the
environment by lowering the need for electricity or other forms of energy. The
Perfect Home now under construction in Port Charlotte, Florida, will not need
any insulation or drywall and should reduce labor costs by as much as 30 %.
Aercon Industries has commissioned the design of its first Perfect Home model
- which has already been sold to Louise Ghigliopty, an Executive of Home Depot
- to include a roof made from Aerofoam's Aerometal(TM).
Aerometal's(TM) many physical attributes have been recognized by Aercon,
including Dr. Robert Montgomery of MZD Inc. and Donald Jones, an expert in
building materials that best serve the Florida market. Dr. Montgomery believes
"Aerofoam to be the most effective and the most versatile new building
material introduced so far in the 21st century, and Aercon Aerated Concrete
was and still is the greatest, newest, and scientifically unique building
material of the 20th century especially when partnered with Aerofoam."
Paul Colacci, President and Head of Product Development for Aerofoam
Metals comments "We're very excited by this use and application of
Aerometal(TM) in the housing industry, and the projections are staggering even
if only a minimum volume of 10% of the need in Florida is realized. This
dovetails nicely with Aerofoam's work over the last six months in supplying
material to the reconstruction efforts in the Gulf Region."
About Aerofoam Metals
Aerofoam produces a highly unique product, known as Aerometal(TM) which
has a myriad of final application uses in any industry, being a possible
substitute for any other metals, wood or plastic. Aerofoam's process allows it
to produce simple applications as well as complex 3D forms which are required
in the automotive, defense, and aerospace industries.
Products made from Aerometal(TM) maintain the physical characteristics of
pure aluminum but at less density and weight. Product applications can be
customized for specific densities as required and enables the use of
Aerometal(TM) as a preferred material because of the properties of aluminum.
Products made from Aerometal(TM) offer substantial material benefits such
as strength, durability, water resistance, energy/impact/blast absorption,
resistance to mold, resistance to termites and rodents, ease of use, thermal
conductivity, and electromagnetic (EMI) shielding, to name a few.
Aerofoam is marketing Aerometal(TM) on a global basis in a variety of
manufacturing and industrial sectors and customers to integrate the use of
Aerometal into a wide range of applications as well as interacting with
qualified candidates to establish territorial or product licensing
