Whistler competition venues are less than a 30-minute drive away.
Media are requested to RSVP with the names of their outlet and staff
wishing to attend at mediarelations@vancouver2010.com by 5 pm on Tuesday,
August 18. Please note space on the tour is limited.
The media tour will start with media registration at Legends Whistler,
located at the base of Whistler Creekside, followed by the shuttling of media
to the village via bus transport. Opening remarks will be followed by tours of
the townhomes, modular housing and athlete amenities, including the High
Performance Centre, a training facility located within the village's Whistler
