PERTH, Western Australia, Oct. 8 /CNW/ - Adamus Resources Limited
('Adamus' or 'the Company') (ASX & TSX-V:ADU) has raised additional funding
for exploration and development at its Southern Ashanti Gold Project in Ghana,
West Africa and for general working capital. The funds have been raised
through the private placement of 3.4m shares to Resource Capital Funds at a
price of $0.30 per share.
Resource Capital Funds manages private equity funds with mandates to make
strategic investments in mining companies and projects across a diversified
range of commodities and geographic regions. Resource Capital Funds has its
principal office in Denver, Colorado.
"This adds another key cornerstone investor to Adamus' register with the
capacity to assist in future raisings" said CEO Mark Bojanjac.
Completion of the placement is subject to regulatory approval, including
approval of the TSX Venture Exchange. The placement shares will be issued
pursuant to applicable prospectus exemptions.
