Activist Agenda To Dominate Fall Legislative Session

Throne Speech Set For November 29, 2007

QUEEN'S PARK, Nov. 7 /CNW/ - Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty today
announced that his government will begin a busy and activist legislative
session with a Speech from the Throne on November 29, 2007.
"With their ballots, Ontarians recognized the strong foundation we have
built together over the past four years," said Premier McGuinty. "They have
demanded that we build upon it. So it's time to get back to work, here in the
legislature, on behalf of families all across Ontario."
The new legislative session will begin on November 28, 2007 with the
election of a Speaker. The following day, the first Speech from the Throne of
the government's second mandate will outline a plan for future progress on the
priorities of Ontarians.
"I look forward to making progress on the priorities we share with
Ontario families - a strong economy, a strong education system, a clean,
healthy environment and a strong Ontario that is the envy of the world," said
Premier McGuinty.
