MONTREAL, Sept. 24 /CNW/ - AAER Inc. (TSX-V: AAE) ("AAER" or the
"Company") a Quebec based Canadian wind turbine manufacturer today announces
that it has signed an agreement with TransCanada Energy Ltd. for the potential
supply of wind turbines for Hydro Quebec Distribution's 2,000 MW wind request
for proposal ("RFP"). Under the agreement, AAER has offered wind turbines for
an undisclosed number of TransCanada's wind projects in the province. The
terms of the agreement are confidential.
TransCanada is the majority partner in Cartier Wind Energy Inc., which
won 6 projects totaling 740 MW in the previous wind RFP held by Hydro Quebec
Distribution in 2004.
