    VAUGHAN, ON, Feb. 12 /CNW/ - With over 4000 jobs available, Canada's
Wonderland is once again offering secure and stable seasonal positions as the
Park's 29th operating season swings into action! Seasonal positions are
available in a variety of areas including Foods, Admissions, Attractions,
Entertainment, Security, Aquatics, and more. As Canada's largest single
location employer of youth and one of York Region's top employers, Wonderland
offers a unique experience in the hospitality and entertainment industry with
the opportunity for promotion and advancement. Many employees begin their
career at Canada's Wonderland during High School and are often promoted into
senior seasonal management positions prior to attending College.
    Job fairs will kick off at the Park on Family Day weekend, with
additional dates being scheduled throughout the month of February.

    The easiest way to apply for a position is to do so online at
www.canadaswonderland.com/jobs or in-person at Canada's Wonderland, on any one
of the job fair dates. Applications will be accepted from 10am-2pm. Upon
applying, candidates will have a chance to interview with a representative
from the Park. Online applications are currently being accepted. Applicants
must be at least 15 years of age to apply. Start dates vary from immediate to
summertime employment.
    For those who have never applied for a job before, tips are available on
line at www.canadaswonderland.com in the jobs section.
    Photo I.D. is required for access to job fairs. Candidates can enter the
Park via the Administration entrance, found north of Major Mackenzie Road on
the west side of Jane Street. For more information, candidates may contact
Human Resources at 905-832-7401. The Park opens on May 3, 2009.

    Canada's Wonderland is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment
Company, a publicly traded partnership that is listed for trading on The New
York Stock Exchange under the symbol "FUN." In addition to Canada's
Wonderland, Cedar Fair owns and operates ten other amusement parks, six water
parks, one indoor water park resort, and five hotels. Cedar Fair also operates
the Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park in Gilroy, Calif. under a management
contract.
