TORONTO, Aug. 31 /CNW Telbec/ - This morning, you might have believed
that hundreds of Torontonians had decided to do a big fall cleanup downtown.
Invading Dundas Square brandishing big rakes, brooms, shovels and recycling
bins, the inhabitants of Canada's metropolis looked like a gigantic squad of
cleaning staff heading for work.
Ecological demonstration? Community cleanup? No, it was just RONA
celebrating its 70th anniversary with birthday gifts for early-bird
Founded in 1939, RONA has become the biggest retailer and distributor in
the renovation/construction market in Canada.
Over 1600 people were given a free gift and this simple message: RONA is
70 years old, and the work has just begun.
Let's start with the big fall cleanup!
