EDMONTON, Feb. 2 /CNW/ - With unprecedented growth, a stronger presence
in Northern Alberta and newer headquarters in Edmonton, 3C Information
Solutions Inc has jumped up to eighth place on Alberta Venture
Magazine's Fast Growth 50 list for 2011, marking the third year in a
row the growing tech firm has been recognized.
Chief Executive Officer Kelly Candy says the recognition of being one of
the fastest growing companies in Alberta is something he and his
co-owners are very proud of. "We have experienced tremendous expansion
and unprecedented interest in our services, which we believe is due in
part to our reputation for delivering value beyond customer
expectations and following up with unparalleled technical support."
Specializing in industrial telecommunications networks and software, the
company has based their Edmonton head office in a 7500 square foot
building which features a new server room, two large operations bays
and a software design centre. "The building has added to the strength
of the company and the services 3CIS can provide as it gives us the
space we need to keep up with demand," says Candy. Despite constant
change in the dynamic Alberta energy sector, 3CIS continues to flourish
and increase their presence due in part to their ability to offer a
diverse catalog of services, which are always expanding. "Where some
tech firms offer just software or industrial telecommunications, we
provide network design, high-speed wireless and wired network
implementations, and large-scale VOIP phone system implementations. Not
only do we build our own network infrastructure that provides service
where other big network providers can't, but we have also built up our
software division to provide tools that no other firm does." Building
on the success of Field Incident Tracking System or FITS, the 3CIS
software division is about to launch Incident Check, an easy-to-use
online system which enables small and medium size businesses to
efficiently track and trend Health and Safety issues vital to safety
compliance requirements. "Zero lost-time injuries and other significant
safety metrics have become a huge management issue in business.
Incident Check allows any type of business to manage this easily and at
a tremendous value from a safety compliance standpoint," says Candy.
Due to ever increasing calls for their services in Northern Alberta, 3C
Information Solutions has opened another office in Grande Prairie.
Candy says it was a move that made good business sense. "We know there
is a growing need for someone who can deliver our solutions locally in
Northern Alberta, so opening an office in Grande Prairie was a logical
next step for the company," he says. They have already established a
presence: 3CIS has been co-awarded the contract to provide data
services to the City of Grande Prairie and implementation is currently underway.
